March 30 – 31, 2019

Probably not much interest from here but thought I would post anyhow.
I have a van load heading south to this event. I have attended a couple times prior and always a good time and a fun way to get the riding year kicked off. Worth the drive just to see the TKO course and to see the stuff ridden in 2 past world trials events. Camping on site and hotels close by.
I do have a couple DAMN folks signed up traveling south....
Something for all levels of riders. You sign up for what you want to work on the most.

They do not shut off registration. The decent hotels do book out so if modestly serious I would book a room that you could cancel. Holiday Inn Ex in Kimball is where we booked at. Camping is cheap. Share a ride is the bigger issue to make the drive reasonable.

anyone want to split a room and the drive? I got a room with two queen (but not gay) beds at the same hotel Mike's staying at.

I'm heading down with Mike. I do have my older Beta for use if anybody wants to use it. Ken it would be nice to see you with me in the novice/beginner group.

You retire yet?

Not retired yet and yes, I plan on being in the beginner group with my EM. I hope lunch breaks are long enough to recharge it! :lol2:

Now to pray for no more medical issues at home this year.

What exactly is the difference between the novice & beginner groups?

Mike will chime in, but I think a novice is above beginner. My understanding is that the whole deal is informal and those two will be grouped together but you can do/go where/what you want.

You in? Ken needs a roomie.

I think I have a roommate lined up. Won't know for sure until it gets closer to the date.

Yeah, I'm signed up. Mike put Ken and I in touch outside the forum.
