I went ahead and registered. If I can't make it at least the 30 bones will go to a good cause.

Gene and I are staying at the Country Inn and Suites in Frackville (Pottsville) the night before. We stayed there last year and it was a very nice (new) hotel. I have a couple friends in the area and they recommended that hotel because many of the others in the area are in not-so-nice areas. If other DAMN riders want to get a place there, we can raise hell the night before at the hotel (or just sit around the fire and enjoy a breakfast in the morning). It's a real short ride over to the start from that hotel.
