Trip was awesome. Rode 920 miles total. Rode in snow ice sleet and rain. Was comfortable riding 28 degrees although most riding temps were 38. Loved it!!! No bike problems other than I had to tighten my ktm chain twice. Time for new chain....

only heated gear was hand grips. I bought the First Gear Katmando pants and coat which made the trip possible and fairly comfortable. After riding in massive rain and sleet at 60 mph, was totally dry when I got to hotel (this day our hotel room had a dehumidifier in it...awesome). If anyone looking for good rain gear that is very warm, try looking at first Gear. Their stuff is a lot cheaper than most others...but it works.
