RAC - March ride
RAC - March ride
To make sure as many guys can make it as possible, let's try a vote. Here are my suggestions (that I can make):
1. Weekend of Mar 3 - No good
2. Weekend of Mar10 - Greenbriar Enduro
3. Weekend of Mar 17 - either day
4. Weekend of Mar 24 - either day
5. Weekend of Mar 31 - Sat 3/31 (Sunday is Easter)
Vote, and vote often! Pick your weekend and day there of. Voting closes on my whim....

Re: RAC - March ride
Ha! Beat me to it! Unfortunately, the only weekend I have off in March is the 10th, for the enduro. Looks like no RAC riding for me next month.
F*** work.

Re: RAC - March ride
I plan on dragging some guys up north on the weekend of the 24th/25th. Yet to be seen who will pony up for RAC permits......so not sure where I will be riding yet.
Re: RAC - March ride
Anyone thinking about 3/31?

Re: RAC - March ride
Fun ride on Saturday with some R & T guys who actually like to ride. Things were going good until my rear master cylinder broke:
Unfortunately it broke right before I crested a pretty steep downhill; it sure took me by surprise when I didn't have a rear brake. In a state of panic, I somehow managed to whiskey-throttle it into a large tree; that sure hurt. Tried riding for a little bit more but got tired of crashing with no rear brake and called it a day.
Til next time.
