Since you don't have any showers there, is there a swimming place somewhere nearby? :lol2:
We have 4 shower houses...
Oh, good. I think I read on the website you don't have any water up there. My mistake.

I got home a little bit ago.

I arrived Friday afternoon around 1. I went on some easier rides by myself. By the time some other guys showed it was raining and none of us really felt the need to head back out. I went back to take my gear off, and promptly fell asleep for Friday evening.

It poured during the night.

Saturday weather was actually pretty nice. The ground/trails were still very wet slick. Some of us went out and did a lap of atv trails at 8am. Very slick and I was almost lost in a quicksand hole...

Went back out and did some awesome new single track off the Shamrock section. Lots of offcamber and would have to hop a small log. Was tricky to not have either wheel skid/slip on the wet logs. Still great trail.

Went back for a hot lunch. And back out again. By midafternoon the trails had dried up some and it was almost a little sunny! We hit some amazing single track again. Was a good time.

I left early around 4:30.

I swear I'll learn how to post some pics and get a few up.

You're making this sound so easy! :lol2:
I had a lot of challenge to do all the single trail we did in the first run after I arrived. Muddy rock climbs, skewed muddy logs, off-chamber logs and rocks, some unconquered hill climbs (one of them yielded before SJ alone) and that's only if I mention the pretty things :killingme:
Still it was a lots of fun as riding always is. After that I was staying with my coworker (if all of them were that good looking :killingme: ). She was blasting it on a Marylander's TTR. Great bike for a first try! She did hill climbs I was proud to do a year ago. On her FIRST run on a dirt bike and one of the first runs on a motorcycle at all. I'm kinda ashamed and proud for her at the same time
All in all i was the great time out as i always is. The weather was stunningly good. I did not expect sun at '70s after a week of rain in D.C.
