Single-track:
Challenging single track trails. Motorcycles only. Intermediate and expert riders on enduro bikes will have fun. The trails are tight, rocky, twisty and have lots of roots. Recommend you have at least 20/80 (pavement/dirt) tires.Tracks are marked with paint on trees. See photo here: XXXXX Just follow the markings and have fun.
Simple enough

For all of you who passed on this event, just go ahead and kick yourself in the ass...I'll wait....done?
If you were on the fence about getting a RAC pass, this was a chance to see the area.

Last year was their first event, kind of on a whim and they had about 200 riders, this year over 700  Well organized, the raffle was :lol2:

Skip, Jed, Gene and I, oh another dude Chris on a DRZ tagged along, hit the ST right after the rider's meeting and it was a good mixture, nothing crazy and well marked. Weather was nice. We took our time and eventually DRZ guy had a flat and bailed. Funny out of 700 folks we only say maybe 20 or so riders on the ST and the last section looked unridden. To be fair, a lot of guys were on DS bikes, atv's etc and some guy were probably locals who went elsewhere.
Made it to lunch, the raffle was at 1.30 and done by like 2.00. I bailed and the other guys went to do a short lap.

The Toy's for Tots folks were happy and so will the local kids up there.

On the Hammer run we were wondering about the same thing. Over 1k riders, but you would think there were no more than 100. Near the end you ride the last section of trail and you have to look twice until you see where it goes.

Where are the pics? Or video.

This was a great event. I'm very glad we went and rode it.
Last night at the hotel, someone asked me if I was also riding this event. He asked if he could tag along with us since he didn't know anyone there and was relatively new to riding dirt. His skill level was right up there with the rest of us, so it was a good match and he was a good guy. His girlfriend was pleasant and hung out at the truck most of the time.

an excellent day of riding: Good friends, good trails, great weather.

My new Tubliss was interesting. had about 2 psi in the rear, and 4-5 in the front. *so* *much* *traction*

I'm definitely putting this on the calendar for next year!

Good to see a few DAMN riders there. With over 750 riders it was a bit overwhelming, but the only real crowding was the parking and the lunch line. Great to hear everyone had a great time. Its amazing what a small group of us inmates from ADV put together. http://advrider.com/index.php?threads/l ... /page-1472 Cant wait for next year.
