Good to know. That's the right size and there's a Wal-Mart on the route in.

It's almost 6 PM and I don't see my battery. Amazon will get an earful soon. UPS still shows tomorrow as the delivery date. I will probably head out to the Wal-Marts tonight to see if I can find a cheap replacement. Kick starting that 450 when it's cold SUCKS.

Another fail on my part, but I haven't gathered firewood yet. Everything in the woods is now wet from 3 days of rain here. I said I'd bring some firewood, so I'll see what the gas stations and such offer in the area for overpriced bundles of wood.

I have a 5L-BS battery from Advance Auto, now. The bike starts and is ready to go. Skip says he's coming Friday evening to ride Saturday. He's bringing wood. See you guys around 10 Am tomorrow!

For those of you who don't know where we normally camp during the Reunion ride, and where we'll assemble tomorrow to unload bikes and stay (for those staying over), here's a map. The red pin is the registration trailer and the grey pin is where we park/camp. The gravel road shown is the main road in. The normal route into the park is via that road coming from the bottom right towards the red pin.

Skip (OneFaller) showed up around 8:30 PM last night to enjoy the campfire so he could ride on Saturday. I didn't take any pictures in the dark.

Good riding with Jed, Brent (990 ADV on the single track), Skip, Sam and Jeff (thanks for the bratwurst). MR really does have good ST.
DAMN wet roots got the best of me a few times and I was able to practice my tuck and roll technique. One time in particular I managed to ram the bar end into my thigh and yes, it left a mark and yes, it still hurts and yes, I'll be walking with a limp for a while.

Interesting note- I wore my Fitbit the whole time and although it tracks the activity as mountain biking, the total time (moving) and heart rate is interesting.

Fri -Right at 2.5 hours total activity (riding) with avg HR 119 of and max HR of 147
Sat- Just under 3 hrs total activity with avg HR 121 and max HR 153 (time corresponds when I went over the bars :lol2: )
