So your old KTM is for ADV riding and you've got a 950 for trails?

Every day is a good day when you ride
Re: MotoCove Thursday 7/13
I wish I could :(
But looks like my next ride could be back in Latvia on my GasGas and here only perhaps in mid/late August.

Well I was hoping to sneak out tomorrow but it doesn't look like I will be able to.

Kevin and I had a great ride today. Was a little hot but not too bad.
We had the whole place to ourselves, and rode the whole red loop backwards, was really fun!
Kevin's favorite spot out of the whole place was on the blue trail. The 50 yard section of rocks right at the end.

DAMN right! I loved throwing the '18 KTM with 7 hours on it down on them rocks....over and over... till the throttle gets stuck wide open!Bucho wrote: ↑Thu Jul 13, 2017 5:03 pm Kevin and I had a great ride today. Was a little hot but not too bad.

Other than that moment of true frustration. It was a blast.
Hope we can get some more weekday rides going

That lower rock section is weird. The last time there a few weeks ago I just skimmed over the top of the entire section like it was nothing. Then other times it has felt like I'm in the Erzberg hare scramble on those massive boulders and can't go more than 2' with getting stuck or falling over

For me it's a matter of speed. Going through stuff like that faster is almost always better/smoother. The good pace for me is quite a bit faster.

faster is smoother, smoother is safer, but good gravy, it's terrifying.Marylander wrote: ↑Fri Jul 14, 2017 7:15 am For me it's a matter of speed. Going through stuff like that faster is almost always better/smoother. The good pace for me is quite a bit faster.
