Bored out the pieces of my kick shaft and put a rod in, then welded everything.




I've been kicking the bike a bunch and I can see it starting to bend and a tiny crack forming already I'll call the dealer tomorrow but I doubt I'll see it by the weekend.

I'll see if I can get one of the other poor neglected steeds working/not leaking all over by the weekend

I ordered a new shaft and gasket, but ETA is Tuesday. There goes $137 out the window Should have just bought the new one right off the bat instead of hoping to fix this one. Oh well.

I'm a bit burned out on messing with bikes right now so I'm just going to get some 'work on my old ass truck' therapy this weekend instead
