AMA Rocket "Dirt Days"

Being new to this whole riding thing again.... has anyone been to this AMA District 7 Dirt Days thing? At the Rocket Raceway track, June 10th this year. Something about a 10 mile hare scramble woods trail? What kind of DAMN turnout will there be?

There is an ECEA hare scramble at Rocket this weekend, so I'm assuming that the race course is going to end up being most of the woods loop for this event.
I have a WATR thing going on this weekend and that one, so I'll be missing it.

I generally avoid MX tracks, and pay to play by joining our organization things. For the $$ you can go to the Cove or Mtn Ridge, or Taskers.

The Rocket HS loop is awesome. The trail flows really nice, and is a good mix of open and tight. I have ridden there probably 4 times already this year.

Honestly I didnt know they were having some sort of event.
I generally dont go to MX parks. I have no interest in the MX track. Ive never been very impressed with the harescramble trails and they seem to charge more than I want to pay.
I hope Im not sounding too negative.
Ive only been to rocket raceway once years ago when they ran an enduro out of it. If the trails are the same we rode in the enduro than they are pretty decent.

Anyone looking for a good place to ride should check this out on Saturday. Would be a great way to support District 7, and Rocket Raceway. Without Mark, the owner of Rocket, the GMER enduro may never have been reborn in this great location.

I am planning to give the Dirt Days event a try. Anyone else? I hope the 10 mile woods loop is something I can handle to get out and back again.... ooofa
