Have you tried using a bib moose? Having a flat and having to fix on a dual sport ride is a PIA enough but during a race it just kills the day.
That is trials tire riding conditions..I could not imagine all the slip and slide you done over the slicked up rocks and roots.
That had to be one long killer day, a 30-40 mile trail ride in that stuff puts a number on me.
Congrats on the finish

Yup, flats suck a lot in a race. It seems every time I stick this wheel set on the bike I get a rear flat, even with a UHD tube in there (front has tubliss)

I ordered a set of the Neutech mousses yesterday.

Someone else having a bad day. I believe this guy runs A Super senior. Seems like a douche who talks a lot of shit IMO.

If you want closely at 3:06, you can see me on the left. This asshole came back down the hill and right as I was about to take a run at it, swung his bike out in the trail blocking me :frustrated: I did clear this hill on the first go :D

I got back around him somewhere around 4:45 when he and other guys got stuck on that little hill. I swung wide right and shot right up it.

OH and that is me at 8:51 waiting for the hill to clear. This guy dicked me AGAIN when he got stuck at the top. The only options there were roll backwards to the bottom like the TM guy had done (who I was waiting to get clear) or just manhandle it that last few feet. I chose option 2, probably wasn't the best call.

Official results were posted. 6 people in my class, only 1 other guy finished the entire day and was down nearly 70 points to me.

C Vet (30+) had 7 entries and I would have finished 2nd there, 2 points behind 1st place. That guy burned the shit out of the 1st check of the day and dropped 42 points right off the bat. I didn't know Jay was out there leading folks around :lol2:

I was 8th overall for the entire C class.

Also got my permanent tag for the Husky today.

Do they give you the option of vertical vs horizontal?

The standard tags are horizontal, the vertical ones are made on an as needed basis and takes a few weeks to get (and costs an additional ~$20).
