Yep, I've got most of my ride checklist done already. The kx started on 3rd kick in spite of not being ridden since may or june last year.

Well we had a good ride yesterday despite a jammed thumb for Marylander and a few dumb tip overs for me.

Yep, good ride. Beejaytee rides like a local through the rough stuff. He's a good one for me to follow through the smooth and flowing stuff as he's more smooth and flowing than me.

My thumb is good and swollen today and shakes when I try to hold it still. It worked well enough to ride the street bike to work this morning though so no biggie. Might be broken though... :) Although I had no crashes the rest of me is pretty sore too. That's what I get for no dirt rides for about 6 months (although not riding was out of my control).

The kx is a lot more work to ride out there than the xtrainer...

Here's a terrible vid of me going up the ridge trail. I was riding bad and the bike was bouncing around with the clutch slipping like crazy (which only got worse later in the day). Still, it's the only vid I've got of this hill.

My best description is it's on the right side of the main trail once you cross the road from the parking lot. You can see the entrance to it in my vid. I give the thumbs up right as we enter it.
