Had a great time meeting forum riders and riding some of the white blaze.

Looking forward to going back to ride the purple blaze.

Well the next couple days of rain and 50+ degrees should send that snow packing.
With that much snow you would have done well to go out the center blue trail to get to Diamond trail then over to the north side. The snowmobile trail has a couple good climbs and since the rangers made us install water bars that last climb can be a handful. I am taking with those conditions no one ventured down Mitchel...

Without having someone actually go to the mountain it is always a crap shoot what you will find. Odds are you are lucky that snow was on top as I bet the ice storm that hit the mountain earlier was under that snow. The rocks hurt far less with a few inches of snow over them. Would not be a good day to slide off one of the wood bridge stream crossings.....burrr.
I had my 15 year old nephew bouncing off the walls waiting to get his new trials bike so if I changed my schedule to meet you guys I would have had one very unhappy camper.

Is that the guy that the guy who bought the Beta from me? If so, the younger rode that thing up into the truck bed on a single rail ramp. I was impressed.

That would be him....he has improved his bag of tricks a bunch since then...DAMN kids anyhow. He is not doing bad, only riding a little over a year and on his 3rd bike.
