I'm considering coming up Friday, probably around noon. Ride all day, roll out that night. I've never been to Mountain Ridge before, I'd prefer to ride with someone who knows the area, or at least with someone who can dial 911 if I make poor choices.

Anyone else gonna be ready to hit the trails around noon on Friday?

I'll shoot for noon but I may only be arriving by that time. Go down to the lower camping lot and look for a dark grey chevy pulling a 16' silver trailer with "yamaha" stickers on the side...or any other vehicles for that matter. Any DAMN rider will be happy to lead you around, I am sure.

Well, my arrival time is now dictated by when my tires arrive at the tire shop. While I was on my way home this morning, I got a big hole in one of my tires on my car. It is not fixable, so I need a new pair of tires (really should be a full set). The tire shop doesn't have any in stock, so they had to order them. They said the tire truck usually arrives at 9 AM, so I'll be at their shop at 9 AM with my donut spare on and once they put new tires on my car, I'll leave from there and head towards Mountain Ridge.

I'm desperately trying to get out of the Metro area before 3.

In other news, I sampled my creations. the "go to" (honey and habanero) is a good batch. the experiments are... interesting. None are overly hot, but I think I'll kick one up tonight with a ghost. :~)

I was in the ER 2 weeks ago and I'm still feeling "funky". Doc says I'm good, we'll see
