KAT packing dry run.
X2 kriega us10L
X1 mountaintop 20L water pack
Plenty of room for last minute stuff.

As I've said before this is my first multi day motorcycle trip. If you guys can throw out some items you have thought to bring form experience on other trips I'd appreciate it. Image

Also just saw that Jeff added a new section and the updated files are on his original post. He's says it a fun new hard section.

Last time I checked the Hatfield Inn website was down. I was wondering if anyone would like to share a room and split the cost, for 2 nights

Someone? My first multi day off-road trip also.

What tools/parts to take? I guess tire irons/tubes/small pathetic compressor is a must. And patches/jb weld, some duct tape and/or cable ties.
Should I take the spare rim I have (no spokes)? :lol2:
For trails I just throw in car every tool I have that could be useful.

Some first aid supplies?

Civilian :lol2: clothes? Just one or more sets? Swimming suit, towel and beach chair? :lol2:

Some survival gear?

Have to remember phone/camera chargers for wall and bike. And perhaps even camera itself

their will be lots of tools there in the other guys' kits but here's what I'd take if I was going:
- spare fuses
- tools to patch a tube
- tools to adjust a chain
- mountain bike hand pump
- the bike's tool pouch; make sure you have an 8mm & 10mm socket

think about the common problems and bring tools for that.

first aid kit if you have one, but someone will if you don't.

Clothes? less is better. Leave spares in the car for the return trip.

What Ken said. You will always bring too much, its the nature of the beast. I will bring a set of metric 1/4 drive sockets, metric allen wrenches and the stuff I'd need to change either tube as well as a front and rear tube. There isn't any reason for everyone to bring the same tools so don't over pack stuff that someone else is bringing. As for clothes, a couple pairs of undies, shorts, sweatpants (they pack tight), and a couple t's with a pair of sandals or flip flops will do it. Aside from that, a camera and a charger for that and my phone.
