I've done it before. I thought it was "nice" and I do have the route sheet and can make a copy if you want...this is more to show the politicians that anyone cares about riding near Greenridge. I can make a copy of the route sheet if you want and save the $40. For me, riding the KTM 450 EXC it was more of an adventure bike ride and less a comfortable ride for a enduro bike. But the scenery is beautiful. I don't know how you are with the throttle, but rides like that really eat up my MX51 rear tire!!!

I did this last year, then Jay used my GPS tracks to lead people for the DAMN Greenridge ride/get-together/campout/spring thing/whatever. I did this ride purely to show that there was interest in riding at GreenRidge. The route, I thought, was actually pretty clever about stringing together pieces in such a way where you would do half of a road, cut off to the side and pick up more stuff, then come back to the road and finish it up, making it not obvious you were on the same road. In other words, given the fairly small number of roads and area they had to work with, they did a fantastic job of not going over the same roads twice and kept the ride fresh throughout.

Unless a significant portion of the $40 is going directly into political action in the area, I think the cost is high for a route sheet, but they (he?) really did a fantastic job of making a ride through a relatively small area on only dirt roads plus one "4wd road" fun. It included a number of water crossings including three *deep* water crossings.

Thanks,

~Patrick

Sounds like something I might like to do. I know the pavement is rough on the knobbies. What percentage is asphalt, gravel, dirt, etc? Is this one day or two? I notice camping is mentioned. Is there a gas stop as I dont think I will make 100 miles on my stock tank. Thanks, Guy

Lots of gas stops, more than you could possibly need.

I guess I'd guess 50/50 gravel/dirt and asphault. Maybe more dirt. The mix seemed fine to me.

One day.

Thanks,
