Hey guys, just a heads up the great state of Maryland is has passed a bill outlawing alcohol consumption in all state parks without a permit. The law takes effect April 1,2009. The permit cost is $35.00 per site. Don't know if it is a daily fee. Have to do some more research.

That sucks! I'll be up there the first weekend in April, I'll check it out and let everyone know If we need a permit, I can take care of it while I'm there.

I just reread the article the April 1 start date is for the day use areas, The campgrounds get a reprieve until November 1. Don't know yet how it will effect the ORV area. Will talk to a ranger this week.
