Re: Any intrest in an "informal" green ridge hare scramble?
i'll bring my raptor 700 quad it's slightly faster than a turtle. the more laps the better.
Re: Any intrest in an "informal" green ridge hare scramble?
If you bring the quad it has to have a winch and cooler on it

Re: Any intrest in an "informal" green ridge hare scramble?
2 laps back to back would be a good workout. They'd need to be full loops though, so I think that would be a total of 38 miles. I'd be terrified to have more then 3 bikes take off at that rocky hill of a start from the overlook though. "Might" be better to start at the beginning of the back section, It's a bit more wide open. We should do this on a Saturday and add an "extra" element. After completing the 2 laps, you must run down to the general store, purchase a 6 pack, and race back to whatever site we deem "the base". First to crack open a beer (and inevitably wear it since it'll be all shaken up) at base camp wins!!

Defiantly full laps no half laps shooting up mertens.
Yeah yeah, more open space... Doesn't sound quiet as entertaining as a bomb run across the parking area into the hill... Which would most likely become a jump at full speed.
The other option would be to start on minutes or half minutes. It would spread the field out a decent amount but make it a little safer.

Hmmmm, I got to give B Dirt a heads up on this one
Since my shifting leg is in a cast from I'll guard the beer
