I was joking around in the GNCC thread, but it sounds like it could be fun... (even though I'd defiantly be one of the slower riders)
Start at the over look parking lot, cold or hot engine in a line. And then race 2 or 3 laps of greenridge winner get's bragging rights.

Any intrest in an "informal" green ridge hare scramble?

Ain't know way I'd do 3 without a nap!

It would be interesting to see if the "hares" could keep it on two wheels long enough to beat the tortoises.Kyler wrote:two laps I might survive.crofrog wrote:I was joking around in the GNCC thread, but it sounds like it could be fun... (even though I'd defiantly be one of the slower riders)

Would this be done on a weekday, or would packs of slow moving 4-wheelers be like obstacles?

I'm just brain storming...
I'd say do it on the weekends... Slow Quads are just a fact of life, but if you're nice they can pull your bike up a cliff with their winch... (ask me how I know, and how I got scratchs on my drz's headlight )
if we are feeling specially adventurous we can do a one lap sprint at night too :)
Maybe I can get some t-shirts printed for the podium finishers :)

Heh... I like it.
I'm finally getting my STUPID Warp 9 wheels adjusted so the rim is centered in the swingarm, and lost a DAMN spoke nipple.
Ken has a CafePress account. I have a computer. Winner Tees? No problem.

I promise all my crashes will be spectacular.
So far this year I've high-sided once, low sided once, hit a tree at 2 miles an hour and fallen over. Fallen over more times I can count coming to a stop. Launched the bike up a hill.
And blew over the top of a berm and went off a cliff.
I think I might almost be done doing durability testing on the DRZ.

hematomas anyone? This is the result of my high-side - ride #2 on the KTM. The bruise eventually extended all the way to my knee and 1/2 way around my ass.

You have knee pads on?
Re: Any intrest in an "informal" green ridge hare scramble?
