I need a place to practice even if it is just a few slow speed laps while you guys take a break

who should I call to confirm that with?

@ Ken, they are pretty much open on weekdays for open practice unless otherwise noted. They have changed owners and names, but they are still super laid back. I think most weekday mornings from 10 - noon, you could have the place to your selves.

That said, I think an F1 or F2 sidecar is way over gunned for the kart track, JMHO.

A little study in tire wear

DRZ, looks good but not providing the grip I wanted. Lot's of slips and wiggles early in the day. It took half a day to get the suspension settled down.



Front looks better

Dennys's rear was showing signs of abuse by the end of the day. It never gave up grip though. Gotta love

The rear of the DRZ was working better at the end of the day, but showing a bit more wear than what I would consider 'perfect'. Ultimately, I went with consistent grip over a prefect set up.

It was interesting to me that it took raising the tire pressure to get more grip on this day.
