Yesterday was one hell of a ride... definitely had a great time. :ride: I got there a little later in the morning and wasn't on the trail until 8:15 or so... took a gander around for you fellas, but you had probably already split. Rode with a couple of fellas on KTMs.

Talk about ROCKY.. but that is the nature of Michaux.. or it seems just about anywhere here in Central PA. It was a great route, but some of the options made me thing they got their letters mixed up on the level... one of the optional Cs sure kicked my butt with one section of muddy rocks... on a hillside... going slightly up hill... I don't recall anybody making through that section very fast.

Most excellent ride, but my poor buddy Jeremy lost the front end turning from Highway 30 onto to 233. He was fine, but the bike got wedged under the guard rail. We had to disassemble half the bike to get it out. When everything was said and done, a couple of zip ties was all it took to make it work good as new... or well... before. When we got him back on the road... the bike actually didn't look any different from before it went down... :lol2:

I sureley hope this event continues for years... it really is fun being able to explore some of the places you normally can't.. even if it is only for a day.

Well, you know it is bad when the motorcycle store knows you need a bike before you even call-LOL

Two days later and still sore. Yesterday morning my mind was frantically searching for a reason to skip the morning Army physical training. I thought dualsports were supposed to be easy! I did all the options besides the A level and the last B (at that point the ice cream looked better than 3 miles of rocks). Several times I wish I had brought my trials bike.

I took 2 pictures; 1 of which was out of focus. :harhar: The rollchart was OK. there were some small problems the biggest of wich was that (i believe it was) Option 8 marked as a class C easy was actuall a Class A Difficult! That one kicked my butt. I did talk to a dude on a BMW 1200 GS that started that route...but turned around. I was impressed that he could even trun around! Don't know how he did that. That one was brutal. But I found out my LCD air guage battery was dead....when after the ride I found out that I was running about 17-18 psi through that slippery hillside and uphill muddy rockgarden! :lol2:

Search youtube for vids? Andy from WATR posted a few. He blew by me on one of the options on his xr650r while I was struggling to muscle my TE250 through the rocks.
