Trans American Trail

I rode the eastern portion last year... Started here in Washington County, MD and rode all the way down to the trail head in Jellico, TN. We were on the trail for 8 rather lazy days and got out to eastern Oklahoma. I think you could do TN in 3 days (we did it in 4), MS in 1, Arkansas in 2 to 2.5; the key to making great miles on the TAT is get up early, eat light in the morning and be on the trail by 7:30.

I'm heading back to pick up the trailer in eastern Oklahoma and finish it to the Pacific in July/August '13.
