Lo siento mucho, can't ride tomorrow. I'm free Tues and Wed for the snow, and on Thursday I have childcare duty.oil-spitn-rat wrote:Bucho are you down?! We need a designated jumper! Your a hooligan my friend
I have been having problems with the server running out of resources and giving errors. It is better but I'm still getting some periodically. Please report any you get to me at ken@kyler.com.

I'm game for a Sunday ride. Maybe 3 hours or so then back to work. It always comes when I don't want it . Better than starving I guess.
Rearden Steel and others interested... Maybe meet at 10:30 somewhere between Boonsboro and Brunswick? Mike may drop a tag so he may have a destination in mind...

Re: Itching to Ride
I guess everyone else got ointment to stop the itching....
Kenny and I got a few hrs in, ended up buzzing about in Blairs Valley/Indian Springs area.... the dirt roads were pure ice, and the less traveled tar and chip rds were pretty much gravel rds. Did find one nice rd that was unmarked that I couldn't determine if it was gravel or paved (maybe it used to be paved) Was a balmy 26 in downtown Mercersburg, and with the sun shining it felt even warmer. We made our way back home over the good humpy stuff to get home It was a good day indeed, now if I didn't now have to go to work tonight

It is true -- when the thermometer doesn't get out of the 20's, that is fairly effective ointment.21783mike wrote:I guess everyone else got ointment to stop the itching....

You know how you're always reading advice "not to ride outside your abilities." Today was outside my abilities. I admire the hell out of you guys for being able to not kill yourselves on those icy roads and trails.
