Since RRob's weekend is out, would any of you guys be interested in doing a nice 80+/- mile loop at 7-mountains.
I am thinking saturday (18th) but could make sunday work also.
Very little asphalt (just down to the gas station and back).
For anyone not up for some of the options, I can get you a map so you can bypass them.
Nothing as hard as Shade but far from boring also.
Would like to keep the group size to 6-8 max just to keep things flowing.
Anyone game???

btw, since that is 2 1/2 hours up from here, is there camping nearby? I'd probably drive up Friday night.

There is "free" camping at Casa-de-Boom Boom if you want to roll my direction friday night. Then you can ride with me to and from 7-mountains.
Also Friday night, there is a professional rodeo being held only a couple miles from my house.
If you did want to camp close to the trail head there is the campground the PaTRA guys use for the dual sport.
Anyone wanting to just meet where the ride will start, figure on being at the parking area located off Sand Mountain Road.
Would like to have kickstands up by 10am, it is a full day ride.
For anyone needing more riding, you can always ride Shade Mountain on Sunday. I can give you maps and directions for anyone wanting to ride Shade on Sunday. I will have to pass, I promised Mrs Boom Boom a street ride on Sunday.

Bucho, do a mapquest to Milroy PA (about 15 minutes south of the trail head) and see what your drive time home is.
You can bail and run dirt roads back to the truck most anytime.
If most everyone is going to stay over friday night or willing to leave early we could have kickstands up by 9 without much trouble.
