I used to think the same - but the ride was well worth it. You should do it once and make up your mind after that.

It's definitely not all roads. It's a great dual sport ride with some challenging sections. I looooove the S500.

I'll be trailering down from the Towson area. I have room for 2 or maybe 3, if they are small, bikes. Anyone that wants to ride with you are welcome to, just be advised you will be sharing the truck with Godzilla.
F*** work.
Ride motorcycles.

So how many fill ups will you need with that 2 quart fuel tank?
Oh you still have a Zuki, thought you went totally nutz and sold all your trail bikes.
Just take the Gas Gas and make your own trails..

Ken:

Are you planning on updating the first post on this thread to list all of the DAMNriders joining us at the S500 this year?

Just a suggestion, you *could* make an extra category for the guys like you, myself, bill (firebolter), lee (husky123), paul (psmcn), etc. who are NVTR working/marshaling the event and DAMNriders as well.

There are a couple of interesting things we are planning for this year's event. Should be a DAMN good time!

ya - I'll try to get that done this weekend. I'll flag the NVTR guys also doing support duties.

If you change the route any and it is no longer wide enough to get the Wasp through, be sure to tell me so I don't drag it down.
