They should outlaw stealing them then riding around the streets on them. I doubt the people legitimately buying are going around in traffic, doing wheels down the road, etc.

There is no place in B'more for that kind of logical thinking!Marylander wrote:They should outlaw stealing them then riding around the streets on them. I doubt the people legitimately buying are going around in traffic, doing wheels down the road, etc.

and did you know ...
Chapters 114 and 115 of 2010 prohibit a person from dispensing motor fuel into a dirt bike from a retail pump at a service station in Baltimore City and require these service stations to post a conspicuous sign stating that prohibition as well as a similar prohibition in the Baltimore City Code.

Does Harrisburg have groups like the 12 o'clock boys. It is a serious problem but there are already laws that deal with these sorts of things. Only law abiding folks will be affected by these new regs.

Must be a lot of people (gas station workers) don't know that one.....or a DRz doesn't count as a dirt bike.Kyler wrote:and did you know ...

I'd trade not buying a dirt bike in B'more for concealed carry there. That would help solve the problem...

I don't know which is crazier, this law, or the laws already on the books.
And then fueling restrictions too?
I understand that they have a problem, but to go after people already intent on breaking the law by passing more laws defines madness.

Wait, so if I lived in Baltimore, I couldn't even ride a trials bike in my own yard?!UndertheBaltimoreCityCode, apersonisprohibitedfrom driving or riding any dirt bike or any unregistered motorcycle or similar vehicle on any public or private property.
