If you haven't already, email comments to ppeditto@dnr.state.md.us.

Also, if you live in Maryland, go to http://mdelect.net/ and determine your elected State reps. Send them an email or call them!

If you are not a MD resident, write the Governor

- online at http://www.governor.maryland.gov/mail/

By mail:
100 State Circle
Annapolis, Maryland
21401-1925

By telephone:
410.974.3901
1.800.811.8336
MD Relay 1.800.735.2258

or the Secretary of the DNR

JOHN R. GRIFFIN, Secretary of Natural Resources

Office of Secretary
Department of Natural Resources
Tawes State Office Building, 580 Taylor Ave., Annapolis, MD 21401 - 2397
(410) 260-8100; fax: (410) 260-8111; tty: (410) 260-8835

Points to make

- Prior to closing the ORV loop, we deserve a chance to provide input and participate with a reasonable amount of notification of meetings and documents to review. Slow down the DNR and give us a chance!

- If the loop is closed, we'll have to go out-of-state and those state's will get our money instead of local communities

- Closing the trail should be an action of last resort
