ADV Rider and Ads

Post by Rut Row » Tue Nov 13, 2018 5:54 pm

It is sad to see ADV Rider go commercial. I use AdBlocker so I don't have to see the DAMNed banner ads. I'm not about to pay $50/year for a banner free experience. It would be different if it wasn't overwhelmed by posers. There are getting t be fewer and fewer good ADV threads to follow.

Yeah, I wish it was more like $10.

I have to say that I dont completely blame them. Its a huge world wide site with a gazillion members.

Sometimes Im amused by the idiots on the site and sometimes Im annoyed. I still like it and check some things out.

The site is too big for me. The main thing I do is read motogp discussions (don't participate that much) and buy/sell stuff rarely. Sometimes I read in the equipment forum.

Yea, way too many subforums. I'm not really much in to the whole ADV thing so I mostly just hang out in the garage and shiny things forums.

The WTF thread is my morning cuppa joe. Even though I have not paid I have never seen ads.

try a PC. It definitely is there

looks like Smugmug has made changes to their site - I opened the image in a new tab and was able to get a useable link
