4 hrs trail riding :barf: :barf:

274 lbs :barf: :barf: :barf:

It costs 50% more than a new 2T dirt bike, provides 1/2 of the operational performance and weights 40 lbs too much.

Pretty cool is NOT the term I would use to describe it....
Don't be so negative.

You aren't wrong about the price and NO it doesn't have a "ride all day" range. But the silent factor could really open up riding opportunities.

My broke ass can't even afford the OSET version (which is 1/3 the cost) but the ability to ride for a couple hours every day or every week w/out having to haul my bike 2 hours somewhere would be be huge!

I think what they have now is pretty cool. I can't wait for what they will have 15-20 years from now.

The electric trials bikes are making progress. Some with clutch, just not ready for the public yet but we are told close.
Same money as the most exotic Vertigo trials bike that is a FI 2 stroke and top level everything where the electric design is from 15 years ago.
They must have a place as they are being sold.
Agree if very limited land or in town I could see the interest however the dirt bike needs more range and less weight before I can see the public accepting them.

When you can ride <30 minutes from your house or have more options further out you might think differently. Admittedly these sorts of things may be for our grandchildren but, even so, making virtually no noise should be a boon for dirt riding.
274# makes it heavy for what I would want to do with it, but an electric bike would let me ride in the woods right behind my house. No noise = no complaints while I practice.

I agree, if it wasn't for the price anyway. It would make a good practice bike, kinda like wearing ankle weights...
