SoPro Mount

Post by Firebolter »

Was looking for a new mount for the GoPro after my little debockle at Shade a few weeks back and came across this "SoPro" mount. Not only do i like the location of where this mounts the camera, I like that it can be easily moved from Helmet to Helmet without having to have stick on bases. That's how I lost my camera was the stick on base got ripped off by a tree. Luckily a nice local rider named Dave found it and returned it to me!

PROSHOT shows just a little handlebar action, the rest is a clear view AND it easily hears everthing you say!

I'm not sure anybody want to hear all my cussin' and heavy breathing.

I do like the second one better though. The first look like it would restrict air flow into the helmet.

When I first saw this camera position from BeeJayTee I was into it.

The best place I think. You can hardly hit it and you can see it and it is not in the way.
The full size GoPro fits in there fine too. That was what BeeJayTee had.

P.S.This Gopro Session 5 was $200 only new on Amazon ;)

I also have a ProShot mount that I like a lot. Once my current GoPro turns to crap, I'll probably get one of those fancy Sony action cameras with image stabilization. The shape is different so it's better suited for side mount on the helmet. I'll miss the chin mount, but I think I'll be able to get over it.
