Im not completely against against camping off the bike, but Ive become used to running light and splitting a cheap hotel room on similar type trips.

I can camp pretty comfortably off of my Wee with all of the storage it has.

I'm with Bucho on the cheap motel

Soooo, how about some dates? ....

+1 for can do camping, but prefer the ease in packing and lighter load that motelling offers.

I'll be at work tonight, let me check my work schedule and at least throw out a few weeks and we can narrow down the possibilities.

Also- my biggest hang up with motel vs camping is leaving the bike outside in a parking lot in a place I don't know.

I've pushed mine into the room before.

The big advantage to having a beat to crap old thumper, is always being confident someone else's bike would get stolen over mine...
