Shifter Shaft Replacement

Post by UCH » Mon Jul 10, 2017 11:17 am

If your shift lever is getting wobblier by the ride, requires constant re-tightening and a new lever doesn't correct the problem. Time to replace the shaft. For a 2 stroke Yamaha you have to remove the right side case section since the shaft slides thru from the right side. Yeah that's right....not just the clutch cover, the right side half of the case. FML I decided to do it with the engine still in the bike.
