I feel like folks are missing out by jumping right on 250/300s. It is just flat out fun to wring the neck of a little 125 :D And yes, you definitely learn to try and keep corner speed up, plus the clutch control to keep it in the power band.

Yeah, I'm sure you're right. Of course, I'm really lazy too. Also, having an old style (torque oriented) 4t background I set up my kx as if it was a 4t (especially with the rekluse, where I could put the bike in 3rd and never shift all day). The xtrainer does nothing for me in this area either. Anyone want to trade a 125 for a 00 kx250?

I think the 4T 125 is a very interesting bike. Looks like it can be upgraded to a 185 very cheaply. Though I wish it had a slightly smaller frame more like the KLX140G
