Re: Spending Joe's money - Beta 125RR
I feel like folks are missing out by jumping right on 250/300s. It is just flat out fun to wring the neck of a little 125 :D And yes, you definitely learn to try and keep corner speed up, plus the clutch control to keep it in the power band.

Re: Spending Joe's money - Beta 125RR
Yeah, I'm sure you're right. Of course, I'm really lazy too. Also, having an old style (torque oriented) 4t background I set up my kx as if it was a 4t (especially with the rekluse, where I could put the bike in 3rd and never shift all day). The xtrainer does nothing for me in this area either. Anyone want to trade a 125 for a 00 kx250?
Re: Spending Joe's money - Beta 125RR
I think the 4T 125 is a very interesting bike. Looks like it can be upgraded to a 185 very cheaply. Though I wish it had a slightly smaller frame more like the KLX140Ggots_a_sol wrote: ↑Tue Jun 13, 2017 3:02 pmYea the 125 RR-S is a thumper. More towards play bike/dual sport than a race bike. Liquid cooled, e-start, wider ratio trans, full size wheels, but basic suspension/brakes, etc.
