I give them cudos for going thru with it.

I rode a 8mile loop in Tennessee with a group of GS giant riders. It took 5hours of muscling thru. The guy in front of me crashed at least 30 times. I was fricking so tired of picking his bike up. He ended up totaling the bike go off trial to the point I winched him back up.

It was fun as hell

That was painful to watch and I ride a GS.

I could take my 3/4 ton truck rock crawling but it doesn't mean it makes any sense!

I rode my 1200GS off-road and in the woods when I had it.Can't have as much fun as you can on a 200 pound bike and it's a BITCH to pick up, but it's a great workout! The downside is the expense of replacing BMW parts that don't handle trees well...
