I have been having problems with the server running out of resources and giving errors. It is better but I'm still getting some periodically. Please report any you get to me at ken@kyler.com.

Re: Tell me again why I live in MD?

If we get too many winters like this I'll be buying some studded tires... You couldn't get me to live in FL though, way too hot. I ran 5 miles today and had my shirt soaked with sweat by the end. In FL I would have my shirt soaked in sweat walking to the mailbox every day.

Re: Newbie Trials day x2

I've got no cash right now. Getting LASIK surgery in a couple weeks instead of buying another bike. We'll see if that was a wise choice or not... ;) Maybe I will be able to do something later in the year.

Re: Newbie Trials day x2

That is not me and the bike. That's the bike I will either borrow or get the other guy there with that bike. I am leaning heavily towards getting a trials bike myself though. This is one temptation I actually want to feed (unlike my 150R temptation, which I'm resisting).

Re: Newbie Trials day x2

I may be able to borrow a friend's trials bike or get him to come out too. I'm getting LASIK done on 2/6 so I may be iffy if it's too close to that...

I suspect the bike will leave me with no excuses:

Re: Pinelands, NJ

I'm not sure I understand your question. In MD, we formed the MD OHV Alliance specifically to stay close to the State on OHV issues, work to open trails on public as well as private land, etc. We are starting to see some results - Savage River State Forest is in the process of opening trails and we...

Re: Adding this to my backpack - pretty cool if you need a j

Yeah, I've had that thing bookmarked for a few weeks thinking I might get one to keep on my cbr1000rr. That thing has a tiny battery (same size as Honda specs for a 99cc scooter) and can be fussy about starting in winter. $150 bucks is a bit steep though. I bought another bike for really cold days i...
