I have been having problems with the server running out of resources and giving errors. It is better but I'm still getting some periodically. Please report any you get to me at ken@kyler.com.

Re: Shenandoah 500 DS 1/2 Oct 2011

That AA trail was just plain ugly coming at the end of the ride. Looking at all those rocks after two days of rocks made me consider bailing out. But I was too stupid to bail. Especially since the LC4 once tried to squash me there on previous year when I looped it backwards off a big rock. At least ...

Re: Shenandoah 500 DS 1/2 Oct 2011

Maybe I will bring both. The Renazco seat on my 640 will probably be calling to me after a day on the 200.

Re: Shenandoah 500 DS 1/2 Oct 2011

I think I saw one of you DAMN guys on a KTM smoker last year. So how was that? I am thinking of giving the LC4 a rest and riding my MXC200. I will have it geared at 15/45 giving it a prayer of cruising 55 for short distances. But I haven't managed to work out the high speed jetting yet. So it will b...

Re: Shenandoah 500 DS 1/2 Oct 2011

That cracks me up considering one year a giant duece and a half based 4x4 contraption crashed out of the woods onto a gravel road right in front of me. That thing should make tree huggers cringe since it was roughly the size of a log skidder and apparently making a new trail.

Re: Shenandoah 500 DS 1/2 Oct 2011

Question on the route: Is it published beforehand? How do the organizers communicate the route to the riders? I was just considering that today and thought that answer is likely to be roll charts -- and if that's the case, I need to get a roll chart holder as I have never used one before... <g> I s...

Re: Western MD inspection, help!

MT21's are not only DOT approved they somehow managed an "R" speed rating in case you want to do 106 mph on them. :brows:

Maryland Tags

This might be old news to most of you, but I just got a tag for my MXC 200 and discovered MD motorcycle tags are finally the same size as everywhere else. :freakey:

I may pay the $20 bucks for a replacement tag just so I don't have to run the LC4 tag vertically anymore.

Re: Big Time Insurance differences

I just insured my little MXC200 and Progressive gave me full coverage for the same price as liability only. It popped up online as $75 liability only or $75 with $500 deductible comprehensive and collision. I called to double check that. Not that I am likely to ever use either except that comprehens...

Re: Western MD inspection, help!

I have been running MT21's for about the last 20 years. I am rethinking that since they seem to evaporate on my LC4. But, yes, I always run DOT legal knobs.

You won't get an answer until Friday. Post up over the weekend if you can't get a site.
