Re: fe 250 issues

This mo*therf*cker done pissed me off. Was running fine. Went for a spin around the block. F*cker shut off. No restart. It did eventually but I trailered it home anyway. I pulled everything and changed all filters, including in tank filter. Changed plug, oil, etc. Runs fine. Few laps around the yar...

Re: Good Day in the Woods

Looks like my 64 tooth (or maybe a bit larger) I run on my Surron. Pulls my fat ass pretty much anywhere. I can do the big hill climb at Phil's but I have to do the old switch back routine 1 time. FYI, Sam’s UltraBee has a 60 tooth rear sprocket. It feels pretty good to me. Ive ridden it a couple t...

Re: Good Day in the Woods

Did you say Trials????? The new section of trail at Emmitsburg is honestly a little harder than I meant to make it. It was supposed to be doable for a noob but its kinda not, especially on a wet day. But it would probably be really good for a trials noob. Some pretty tight corners for dirtbikes. Lo...

Re: Good Day in the Woods

Last year I cut a bit of a walking trail at my house. (We have several dogs but no neighborhood to walk them in) I did a few laps on the bike. The whole thing is pretty easy but there is this short section that is rocky and offcamber. Just tricky enough. IMG_3096.jpeg Same short section from one dir...

Re: Good Day in the Woods

I'm not sure what sprocket Sam is running on there but with that 16" rear wheel it looks like 200 teeth :) Would give DaveJ's LightBee sprocket a run for its money! I'm sure it has plenty of torque even in eco mode. Good to know. I did notice it was a large sprocket but I thought it was stock ...

Re: Good Day in the Woods

I still need to saw out one or two more logs. But Im happy with the newest section of trail. Matt helped and laid out quite a bit of this. Several spots on this trail we were able to have an easy line and a challenge line real close to each other. IMG_3056.jpeg (As usual the pic looks like nothing…)...

Re: Good Day in the Woods

Tomorrow is supposed to be rainy. I managed to move my schedule around and come up to Farm for a few hours. My forks are still out for service so Sam was nice enough to give me his Ultra Bee for the day. Super fun bike. Im still recovering so I took it easy and left it in Eco almost the whole time. ...

[Edit: A precursor to the below. My reference to Stephen is because I respect his opinion and was concerned about the possibility of spending over $12k on something that had no prayer of meeting my needs. So I was truly thankful to get this opportunity to get plenty of seat time to form my own, inf...
