Re: Snapped Key
Thanks to those who actually posted useful ideas. I tried the dab of superglue trick. Didnt work. Im trying scrounge up dental picks or something similar. A few bucks on a broken key extractor kit might be well worth it. I did find my spare key, for the ignition. So weilding the broken keyinto the l...

i did the same to the ignition and just jb welded the broken off piece and key in the ignition.
If it was in the ignition I would be perfectly happy w/ that. That chances of anybody stealing my beater bike would be slim, and if they did it wouldn't bother me too much.

Snapped Key
The locking gas cap on my Kawasaki Concours was sticking real bad last time I gassed up. So bad it bent my key a little bit to turn the lock and open it. So I thought I would get it opened here at home. Take a look at it and clean it up a bit. However, I snapped my key off in the gas lock. Nothing t...

Re: The Cove/MotoCove
Just one other thought about your battery situation. The battery and alternator on my bike is pathetically weak and small. If I can keep the revs up, like riding on fireroads then the battery easily keeps a charge. But if Im crawling around on first gear stuff my battery dies very quickly. Not sure ...

MotoCove, 9/6
There seemed to be some interest for a midweek ride out to the MotoCove.
If you have never been before, its a little rocky in some spots, (not really noob friendly), but a good time.
I believe they open around 1000. I'll try to be there right around 1000.
Anyone else?
