Re: Granville's Spring Camp & Ride II 5/6-7

There might be a place that is more wide open and kinda desert like. Busco beach has soft terrain, clay, but also mud, a great mx track, dirt/Sandy drag strip, and jumps galore. Goldsboro nc.i only dream of going west. My buddy and I were contemplating a trip to Busco. Worth the trip then? My only ...

Re: New member in Bristow

Thanks for the welcome. I'm planning a couple weeks of riding in Colorado and that's one of the reasons I went with the 500. How do you like that 501? Todd Love it a lot, really only got it over the 500 because I found a really good deal. I dont think I'm a good enough rider to have an opinion on t...

Re: New member in Bristow

Hey Bucho, I saw the thread about motocove next weekend and that sounds like a good time. I've also been following some of the RAC threads. I'm not sure I'd make it up there enough to make buying a permit worthwhile. No, the 500 isn't my first dirtbike. I had a 450 in SoCal and rode a lot out in th...

I've also heard Quattro Goombas is really good, though I've never gone. Anyone been?

Re: Moto Cove Feb 24th, 25th or 26th

Thanks, sounds good to me, I plan to be there on 25th. Looks like I will go alone, we don't have guns or winter swimming experience :D. It's time to test bike carrier I bought recently :). Granville's ride is demanding some skill level and I don't have a clue what is a "C" rider. Perhaps ...

Re: New DAMN rider here...saying hello

whatup new guy. Not sure if you're into the brewery scene, but Dirt Farm Brewery in Belmont (one town over) and Adroit Theory (in Purcellville) are really cool places worth checking out.

Re: Ride this Sat 2/11?

hey 2 way, sent you a PM..things seem to be a bit funky with the message sending so not sure if you got it. Just wanted to mention I'm not a very big fan of Ride-on, but if you were in the market for a new bike, the shop down in Waynesboro is top notch (though far). I'm also trying to offload my 201...

Using "drudgery" to describe riding, makes it sound not fun. However, still a fairly apt description btw the two places.
Drudgery on the bike is better than happiness in a lot of other situations, it's a sliding scale.

Re: MotoCove 1/21

I find the Cove a little easier to ride. The rocks aren't constant, there are sections that aren't very rocky at all, and the hills (with rocks, of course) add a a bit of excitement to the mix. Gene thinks he can make it too. I feel like a lot of the trails at Tasker's have this consistent rock-fil...
