1998 XR400R
This is a great bike and it has a PA street title, tagged and legal. It's been collecting dust as of late and my son (in the Army) is never home to ride. It still fires right up (OK you have to kick it a few times) and runs like a raped ape. Newer tires, cogs and chain. Everything (carb, swingarm, w...

Re: Boom Boom's farm ride weekend
Thanks again to Mike and company. Mike's trails are top notch.
I think I walked the bike over as many logs as I hopped...practice is needed.
Wifey enjoyed her short ride Saturday morning, she even got excited going through the mud. She is building confidence on her scoot.

Re: Boom Boom's farm ride weekend
The Mrs. has decided to make her inaugural outing on her XT225
So, I'll be puttering around with her in the morning. She works second shift and we'll only be able to stay until lunch.
I'll bring the beater Beta. It's good at puttering.

Re: Michaux DS Aug 24
In the past I've ridden the XR4, last year I rode The KLX. I don't always do all the options. Michaux is my backyard and I go mostly for the food and friends. My guess is that 60-70% is gravel fire roads and paved. With the rest being single/double track type stuff, with some atv trails. U...

Re: 6/26, Mt Ridge!
Thanks for all the offers of a lift guys. Im looking forward to it. A fun challenging single track trail, nice and easy Gunners Run, and all the fun rocks on the other trails. It's great that folks step up to help  Gunners Run has always been my favorite trail up there. Maybe because it ju...

Re: New dualsport bike
FWIW I never considered a WR because of the seat height...I have short legs
Not a problem for you.
Also the DRZ is much lighter.....than my KLR was
