I started to do a top end job on a 150r super moto project... now the frames painted, every bearing on chassis and engine replaced, bored carb, stroker 180 kit, and race tech springs and gold valves... started it 2 months ago

I understand a little port and polish work goes a long way on that motor. Something to think about while you have it apart! you are doing the head anyway. throw a stone to it and clean up the ports. Don't have it apart yet so I haven't seen what it looks like but.... I can't take the valves out of ...

Contis wore out extremely quickly on an xr650l, were great while they lasted. I just read that whole thing from start to finish... Impressive to say the least. I wish had a mill/lathe and welding equipment at my disposal. Not to mention a whole lot of time and money to create these one-offs... I’m excited to do my 180 kit super moto 150r for kart track racing this year! Sent...
