Re: This is what you do with new bikes, right?

Clearly the whole bike is defective. You bought a lemon. I'll give you a dollar for it to save you the headaches of constantly fixing it. :lol2:  Small gap to hop. Big mental thing to clear this since unlike jumping Jed's creek crossing there were consequences for boogering it up. This trail h...

Re: This is what you do with new bikes, right?

 About the only consolation is the fact this rotor was at the end of its life before this and I was going to change it after this trip anyway (had a replacement on hand already) Also had a Galfer rear brake line I had bought for something at some point that was brand new in the package and fit ...

Re: This is what you do with new bikes, right?

DAMN, must be dragging them. Maybe they’re not releasing? Hatfield was fun! We should do another DAMN Buffalo Mtn ride. They seem to release fine. I didn't burn off the first set of pads unexpectedly, they were just at the end of their life/thin. Apparently these unknown brand pads were made of pen...

Re: This is what you do with new bikes, right?

First race on the Beta yesterday. Forks worked so much better. I messed with the valving in the shock and it is improved as well. Race didn't start off great. Was a live engine start which I hate so much. Everybody suddenly becomes a professional motocrosser and it is a shit show :lol2: I ended up g...

Re: Drtjumper Alta Review?

There's going to be one in the erzberg rodeo coming up. Ugh. Although I suppose those will be hard bikes to hide considering how rare they are. Pretty DAMN bold considering they had just stopped for lunch and they got jacked in the middle of the day like that. ATTENTION FRIENDS IN THE U.K. WE NEED ...

Re: This is what you do with new bikes, right?

So put about 30 miles this weekend between the reunion then Taskers the next day. I'm definitely liking the extra oomph from the 250 over my Husky. It does weigh a little bit more but nothing too crazy (I'll scale it eventually). Ergos are good, although I swapped bars right off the bat to my prefer...

Re: Drtjumper Alta Review?

Took this for a quick spin at Tasker's today. It is so weird just twisting the throttle and going with no noise. Hard to judge the power without being able to listen to the engine noise/rpm. It was pretty greasy after all that rain so I only bumped it up to map 2. She scooted along pretty well and w...
