Looks like Ted and I may be in as well.

I got a mini I'm San Jose, and took it up to the Lick Observatory, then over to Livermore. On the way back I worked it until the brakes were glowing, and the pedal went to the floor. Never heard a word from them, but I now know why you never buy a former rental car. :-)

I agree that a flywheel weight will make a huge difference, but given the difference in weight that a MX bike I'm that size is going to bee spring for and Jed's size, I'd recommend that be his first or second mod. I am larger also, and doing the suspension made a HUGE difference in the controlabilit...

Perhaps it's not uncommon in Maryland, but in my 30 years of riding I've never had out happen to me.
Granted, the last time I was pulled over in Maryland was 15 years ago...

I've never heard of dmv checking the frame. I actually considered importing a not-legal-in-the-US bike, and using the title from a legal version. I'm pretty sure it would work.
