Is it true those twinn carbs 1984 had 43 hp? Does it run super strong? any lag/flat spot of idle? like the newer single carbs?

yup, thats why I just bought a second one. My neighbor wants one now. just missed that xr400 for $1000.

Thanks for tips, I 'm going to a guy that has a xl650 himself with a baja D kit on his bike , so hopefully we'll have some common grounds, & I'll try to recruit him to this DAMN place! I cant wait!!!
