Re: Fantic History

If they could keep the bike looking more like a MTB (like the Sur Ron/SEGWAY) and keep the cost to around 3K, I'd buy one to ride around my house on trails and such where a true motorcycle would be frowned on. But if you look at the other ones that are more motorcycle like with larger frames and mot...

Re: SWM's

They are clean because they are at the motorcycle dealer waiting to be bought!

Re: Fantic History

http://www.motoheadmag.com/fantic-links-up-with-yamaha/ unsure how old the article is, but what a nice looking bike it's recent, I just read a similar article in Motocross Action dates the 15th of this month, but they are not avail in the US. https://motocrossactionmag.com/amp/fantic-gets-a-boost-f...

Re: More options

Yeah I am not saying the Smart Carb or the Lectron is the end all answer, and I am purely talking about dirt bikes as opposed to true EPA approved, street legal bikes which I agree, EFI is the only path forward to be compliant. What I mean is (and I should have been more clear) a Smart Carb or a Lec...

SWM's

Dropped into a nice Euro bike shop in San Diego this week and they had 2 SWM's in stock. Nice looking bikes. Fit and finish looked on par with KTM, Husky etc. Prices seem reasonable. They had a 500 Motard and a 650 "ADV" style bike. Pretty sweet all in all.

Re: More options

No doubt from a power perspective, the EFI 2T's are about as good as it gets from a fuel/air/oil ratio perspective, but not so much that I can tell a difference on my bike to make me want to have the additional complexity. I like simplicity, I want to be able to McGyver my way home if needed and wit...

Fantic History

I was reading an article about new Fantic enduro's that are in Europe (no plans to bring to the US) and looked at the Fantic page and clicked on their "Heritage" page. Some cool pictures. Look at the bottom about the 72-73 "Choppers" Fantic made. Too cool. http://www.fanticmotor....
