True but its kinda like FCAU spinning off the Ram division. Its just a matter of time before Dodge disappears then Chrysler. After all their most popular vehicles are based off a 20 year old Mercedes chassis. About the only thing they have goin for them is the Cummins engines and Jeep.

Last weekend I pulled,disassembled and ordered parts for my transfer case. This weekend I realized that I forgot a few things. Oh well that’ll give me time to do some other things. I'd be happy to tell you about my attempt at rebuilding the original engine but the short story is, don't. Unless you have the bazzillion bucks worth of specialized tools for measuring the end gaps, side gaps and apex seal depth/tension etc etc etc, you'll never get it right.(Whoda thunk an engine ...
