an excellent day of riding: Good friends, good trails, great weather.

My new Tubliss was interesting. had about 2 psi in the rear, and 4-5 in the front. *so* *much* *traction*

I'm definitely putting this on the calendar for next year!

Did the same to my NX650 back in the days. Until realized it eats oil if pushed too hard on a street :D. Cost me about a month getting parts/fixing, but was not too expensive - piston (new) and cylinder (bored) only. But I cracked the engine to get all the aluminum out from the broken piston. That ...

For me it's a matter of speed. Going through stuff like that faster is almost always better/smoother. The good pace for me is quite a bit faster.

faster is smoother, smoother is safer, but good gravy, it's terrifying.
