I'm interested in the bike and was checking Sam's out at the recent ride. However, I have to wait for other people to get interested, buy, and then get disinterested so I can get one used... ;)

You can adjust the power delivery of a 2 stroke a whole bunch. I did FWW, retarded ignition, throttle tamer, woods pipe, rekluse, etc to initially make the switch from a klx300 to a kx250. Now that I'm used to the bike I've been undoing those changes whenever I can overcome my laziness. ;)

I enjoyed it and plan to do it again next year. I was on the 2000 kx250 riding around with Chuck Marler and Bob Dement.

AKA Taskers Gap, yep I've ridden there many times. A lot of folks don't like it because of the rocks. To me rocks are just riding. I was confused for a bit at Eagle Bay today since I was riding on "dirt" or something like that. ;)
