Re: Stolen bikes

Three times? DAMN! Glad you got the more important stuff out of there before they got in.

I've reinforced the doors and am working on an alarm. I don't know about video monitoring, but that may be the next step. It's bullshit that anyone even has to worry about this.

Re: $10,000 REWARD - 3 STOLEN BIKES

Holy shit! I'm so sorry to hear this. I hope that the bikes turn up on their own, but I think the reward will unfortunately help.

Do you mind if I cross post this on a couple other forums (dcsportbikes.net and adv)?

That's a beautiful bike. If my DR hadn't turned up, I might have been heading up to pick that up. Good luck with the sale!

Re: Stolen bikes

I think the DR might have been dumped either because it was out of fuel or because they bent the shifter up to where it wouldn't upshift and didn't feel like bending it back down (or didn't know to try it). That spot is where mostly street bikes are left according to the impound guy, so I'm thinking...

Re: Stolen bikes

The DR was reported as abandoned in Lanham earlier this week. I had to pay $275 for the privilege of bringing my bike back home all torn up. No sign of the other two though. http://i123.photobucket.com/albums/o287/_badguy_/bike%20stuff/IMG_3545_zps91aca085.jpg http://i123.photobucket.com/albums/o287...

Re: Stolen bikes

Thanks guys. Here's the info on the bikes, I'll cross post in the trials section over at ADV juuuuust in case the dirtbags who took the Beta know what it is. 2006 DR650SE - VIN JS1SP46A662100185 (currently has a stock exhaust from a GSXR 1000, not the FMF in the pic) http://i123.photobucket.com/albu...

Stolen bikes

Looks like I won't be riding any trials events any time soon...or riding much of anything else either. I found the door to my shed hanging from the hinge this morning and three of my bikes gone. They took an 06 Suzuki DR650, an 04 Honda CRF150F with big wheels, and an 86 Beta TR33. The DR had an ADV...

Re: A question for the "maybe" trials guys

I might be able to help out as far as the rules go, but for technique...not so much :lol2: Unless something comes up, I should be at the event in November. I could at least demonstrate where to go on the 4 line since I'll still be riding it. Then again, maybe I could use the help: http://i1079.photo...
